My son and I were out for dinner or more just dessert! I was very surprised and confused at first. I don't see very well without my glasses and had to ask the waitress. She then explained the kind gesture, but before I could thank AJ's family, they had left. My son is almost 10 and looks very similar to AJ. My son was very ill when he was a child and I try not to take one day for granted and cherish and make as many wonderful memories as possible. I can't even image the loss of son and so tragically. I had to go home and research more about our kind neighbors. I will keep them in my prayers. Over Thanksgiving and Christmas I found that we had a neighbor that really needed our help with meals and preparation. I had a small Neighborhood party for Christmas and left for a moment to take a meal to my neighbors that no longer travel very well. I had to much in my hands and my friend helped me to carry the delivery. After we got back my other neighbors asked if they could start to help in making life just a little bit easier for the family. It doesn't take much to help others and it warms the hearts of all included.
