I received my AJ Way card from his father, Joe, while talking with him at school. I had seen the website and was saying what a great idea this was. I was challenged by a good friend to do random acts of kindness in AJ's name. This week I chose to make burp cloths for a soon- to -be mom who works out where I do. I left them anonymously along with my AJ Way card in hopes that she will pass along another act of kindness in memory of AJ. I also am continuing to do an act of kindness for an elderly neighbor that I do not know, by stopping each morning on my way to work out and placing her newspaper closer to her door (she comes to the end of the drive with a walker). I feel this is something AJ may have done with all the stories I have read of his kind heart and unselfish ways. I will continue to do random and anonymous acts of kindness to honor this young life gone too soon.
