AJ would give away something he really wanted to make others happy.  I made a turkey sandwich for AJ every morning for his school lunch. I would let him pick out the other snacks he wanted in his lunch. One morning I noticed there was a bag of Beef Jerky that was about half full sitting in our cupboard. I knew him so well. I know he would love it, so I asked if he wanted me to put it in his lunchbox. He was excited that I found it for him to take. When AJ came home that day, the first thing out of his mouth was "Guess what happened at lunch." I knew exactly what he did. I knew it. He started saying "Liam wanted a piece of the beef jerky, and Luke wanted a piece. Then this other boy wanted some, and this girl at the table wanted some." I stopped him and said "AJ, let me guess, You did not get any of your beef jerky." He said "No, Everyone around me wanted a piece." And he passes out all of it to his friends without saving any for himself.

Love you, Bud.
Dad
